This is your opportunity to develop your professional profile as being part of the BDAC board will allow you to work on your leadership and teamwork skills. A leadership position also looks great on a resume and can provide career opportunities!

Vice President of Finance

The Vice-President of Finance is responsible for handling and controlling the cash flow for BDAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash in-flows (membership fees, workshop fees, fundraisers) and expenses
  • Create budgets at the beginning of the semester and update remaining balance
  • Control and update the club’s balance by creating budgets
  • In charge of reimbursement process with ASI and BICC

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Can be on campus anytime during business hour

Vice President of Correspondence

Vice-President of Correspondence is responsible for internal communications to make sure that members stay informed and are up to date with information about the club.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft and send emails to board members, club members, and interested students
  • Respond to emails from members and provide them the necessary resources
  • Work with Vice-President of Finance and Member Relations to keep track of membership
  • Create Eventbrite link for events and help checking students in
  • Compose monthly newsletter with Vice-President of Marketing

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent written communication skills

Vice President of Marketing

Vice-President of Marketing is responsible for marketing strategies of BDAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform research for monthly newsletter
  • Communicate with Titanshop for donation
  • Create marketing strategies and campaign to increase awareness of BDAC

  •  Experience with researching and collecting info

Vice President of Information Technology

Vice-President of Information Technology is responsible for managing and developing BDAC’s website.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update the club’s online calendar with the semester plan
  • Upload images of club events and keep the website up-to-date
  • Post flyers on the home page
  • Monitor and check the website for membership sign-ups.

Requirement: Applicant for this position needs to have previous web development experience or related knowledge.

Operations Lead

Operations Lead is responsible for assisting VP of Operations in planning and hosting all of the events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations in planning and coordinating the events
  • Assist VP of Operations and BICC Rep with BICC proposals
  • Help with event logistics such as purchasing and picking up materials/food
  • Attend every event to check students in and ensure events run smoothly

Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for designing and creating posting on social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create postings for upcoming events and past events
  • Upload pictures taken from events and flyers given by the President and VP of Marketing
  • Expand the club’s social media presence by communicating and connecting with members

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience in social networking with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Creativity

BICC Representative

Business Inter-Club Council Representative is responsible for attending BICC meeting representing BDAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly BICC meeting
  • Work with President, VP of Operations, and VP of Finance to prepare proposal
  • Keep track on BICC reimbursement
Requirement: Applicant for this position must be free on every Tuesday, 11:30—12:30pm for BICC meeting.

Art Director

Art Director is responsible for designing and creating promotional materials such as banners, flyers, handouts, club shirts, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create flyers and social media posting graphics for events

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Creativity
  • Eye for design and aesthetics

Supporting Members

Supporting members will assist the President, VPs, and Secretary with their duties. No specific requirements or skills are needed for this position; we are just looking for motivated members who are willing to help out with all aspects of the club.

Application Process

To apply, just follow these two steps:

  1. Click here to be sent to the board position application form. On the application form, fill out the required information and the position that you want to apply for.
  2. Once you have submitted the application form, sign up for an interview slot by When emailing, please provide your first and last name, the position you applied for, and your time availability for an interview.


After you have completed these two steps, you will have to go through an interview with the president and board members. The interview process will take a couple of weeks as there will be other applicants applying for the same position.

If you are accepted for the position, you will then enter the mentoring program where one of the board members will train you on the position’s tasks and responsibilities. The duration of the mentoring program will depend on your availability for mentoring sessions and your progress in understanding the tasks and responsibilities.
